Blog Commenting and Razz-Kids

This week on Friday I have been  working on my others for the must do task list. The reason why I commented on Aung Naing was so that he can fix his mistakes. What I found hard was to make question for Aung Naing to fix his mistakes. What I found easy was to understand what Aung Naing was trying to talk about.

This week on Friday I was working on my other must do task list, Today I was on razz-kids. I also read a book that had the Greek gods. I answered all the questions right 10 out of 10. These question were hard but some were easy to answer. I learnt all of this by getting help from Jack and Alex.

Keeping Safe

This week on Friday I have been working on my inquiry, Today I chose Chris and Pua to be my partners. I also had to type down things that are safety while you are public. I learnt all of this by getting help from Chris and Pua. I also got an idea from Mr Wong when he explain what to do. What I found hard was to find a photo that can make sense to my sentence. What I found easy was to type down what is safe.

Duck OverBoard

This week on Wednesday I have been working on my reading, Today I had to type information about the duck overboard. I also had to type down what I think is the main idea, we also had to type down 2 supporting details about the duck overboard too.

I learnt all this information by going on learning space one site, then I went to watched the video to find out about the duck overboard. I also read the articles too, the article helped me more than the video.

Text title: Duck Over Board
Author: There are lots of authors that have a video of the duck overboard experiments
I think the main idea of this text is thousand of rubber ducks were lost overboard. Scientist follow them to understand better how ocean currents work.
One example of a supporting detail is The rubber ducks went to different direction like Alaska 1992, Australia 1994, some ducks drift slowly through the arctic ice 1995-2000, United states 2000, Scotland 2003,
Another example of a supporting detail is Lighting struck down on a cargo ship and then all the rubber ducks were lost in the sea.
It is clear that the main idea is a cargo ship getting struck by lightning few years ago.

Because that is how lots of people researched about them and learnt a lot of how the ocean currents work.

KiwiCan Post

Joseph- This week on Wednesday I have been working on a kiwi can post. Today the partner I worked with for the kiwi can post is Julian.Today we played a game called musical emotion. We had to split into 4 groups, our group was called marvellous muffins but Julian wasn’t in our group. The rules were that we were not allowed to make a sound, but we had to act like we were playing with an instrument, We also had to choose an emotion and pretend we were playing the instrument in the emotion. Then the other groups had to try guess what emotion we were feeling. After we played another activity, called emotional statute. This activity was fun because we had to act an emotion while standing still. There also had to be a person that moves the statue hand and body to make them look like the emotion they choose. I learnt all this information by getting help from the activity in kiwi that Mr Malu taught us.

Combined Weight

LI: To measure our weight using scales.

This week on Friday I have been working on my maths, Today the group of people I was working with were Karlos, Peter and Te Pounamu. We had to measure our weight on a scale, then we had to add all of our group members weight together. After we added our groups members weight we had to try to equal the same amount of weight to a Cheetah or a Gray Wolf with our group members weight. This task was hard because we had to do a lot of adding up and a lot of subtracting. The thing I found easy was to get the weight of the animal and the plane. I learnt this by using additional skills and using subtraction skills, I also learnt this by getting an idea from Mr Wong. I also learnt the weight of an cheetah by google.  I also learnt this by getting help by Karlos and Peter, I also got help from the Learning Space One math's site.
