Tech / Wood Work

Today on friday we were continuing on with our wood work. I was working on a Skateboard, I was making it for my collection. I wasn't make that progress because the the measurements were incorrects and usually the line were not Straight, but eventually I finally did it. Next session I will try do better with my Measurements.

Food Tech

This week was our last session for Food Tech. This time we made (Thai Fish Cake). This dish was extremely delicious but was spicy at the same time. I think that if we decreased the amount of chili flakes we added it would've turned out better. The ingredients we used were Brown Sugar, Fish Sauce, Onion, Coriander, Boneless Fish, Canola Oil and Chili Flakes. What I found difficult was to stabilize the fish cake in its form. What I found easy was cutting the coriander into small pieces. The thing I need to work on is adding down the correct measurements for some ingredients. Thank you Mrs Hecker for the cookings. Im currently look forward for our next rotation.

Tech

At Tech we were doing Meteal Work with Mr Naicker, the first thing we did was Filling out a question form which gives us a choice to choose between a Pizza Cutter or Cake Server. I generally chose Pizza Cutter due to the fact that a large majority of people would rather have Pizza than Cake. I then had to choose a design of how I want my Pizza Cutter to look, I chose a complex design rather than simple design because I think simple designs are plain. I then got my handle for my Pizza Cutter and polished it.

Tech/Tinkercad

This week for tech our group had to create a person on Tinkercad, this was my first time using Tinkercad. As you can see I have tried to make Julian and his chicken, but the outcome result were horrible. I still tried my best to use tinkercad, I think I did good job creating a person for my first time using Tinkercad. I asked people in my Tech group of how my chicken looks and they said, it looks really fuzzy and looks like a monster.

DigiTech

This week for Tech, we were using a program called scratch. Scratch is a something I had difficulties with as it was my first time using it. I learnt that when you use scratch, you can make animation and you can make simple games. If we needed help, we could go on Mrs Anderson DLO about Scratch and get help if needed. Mrs Anderson also demonstrated us with tools to make simple animations or short clips.

Tech

This week, at tech we focused on Digital Tech as our new subject. As we focused on Digital Tech, we had played a game called moana which is game similar to a pencil code. At tech I found listening to the   following tips hard because I was unknown from some sites.

Wood Tech Art

This is my work from tech, if you have been wondering what it is, the picture represents a dog. At tech our teacher is Mr Grundy, Mr Grundy teaches Woodtech, which is something fun to make out of wood to metal. For an example I am going to make this dog, the reason why I chose a dog for my picture, is because my mum loves dog and this photo, has a right angle of detail. So what Im going to do is i'm actually going to have to trace around this dog by place a thin piece of wood that is shaped as a square, then I am going to use a special sawing machine to cut my piece of traced art. After Mr Grundy will ask if it looks great, then he will pour in some melted hot metal, Soon you have to wait for about 15 minutes, then the picture that you made is perfectly stoned.
